Life is a beautiful adventure. There is so much excitement at who you could meet, where you could live, when will its moments take your breath away or rob you of your next smile.
There is beauty and ashes; dreams are birthed, paths change and joy is found in places unknown before. The dawning of new days gives way to bountiful possibilities.
There is no one path to take, no one way to do things. You can live boldly or quietly. You can be a chaser or be pursued. You can choose to face the threats of the wind, or you can find warmth within a shelter against the wind.
Maybe there are different seasons. Maybe your path consists primarily of sunshine and brief showers. Maybe yours instead sees consistent change of pace... As sun gives way to showers which gives way to snow which gives way to blooming flowers eventually returning to sunshine.
I'm not really sure what yours holds, or where you sit. You might sit in pain, sorrow, joy, contentment, or carelessness. But the beauty of life is that it's constantly changing! And as I sit in the middle of an international airport all I see is hope. Endless possibilities of the places I'll go, the people I'll encounter, the love I'll receive and give, the dreams I'll achieve, change or forget.
Possibilities and hope lie at my finger tips and yours too!
Look back and you can see what has become known.
Look ahead and you see excitement riddling the unknown.
Try not to guess that unknown. It's far more exhilarating for adventure, love, loss, and passion of life to come to you.
Rest in God's sovereignty that no heart break is lost nor any wound wasted.
Rest; He will remember the passions that light your heart and He will light every dark hour with twice as many bright lit colorful dawns!
Love is His name and beauty is his creation... Trust His control of your life and it will emanate nothing less. What He offers is far superior than your guessing, pushing or forcing with your ideas of life.
May surprise be our greatest asset as we live in the present and patiently, joyfully await the future life He brings.
"'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in Him.' The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him." Lamentations 3:24-25
"Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore He exalts Himself to how mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him." Isaiah 30:18
