As time winds down here in the United States, I am so looking forward to time spent in China. The Father has shown me a glimpse of what lies ahead in Changchun through my work at Hume Lake Camp as a counselor. I got to share so much of my Hope and faith with the girls in my cabin and so many rewards were given! Please pray for this pre-departure time... that I may be daily saturated in the Word in order to be adequately prepared for the harvest ahead and that I will use this precious time wisely, cherishing the relationships that I have made to this point in my life! Praise God for the work that is at hand already! "He told them, 'The harves is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." Luke 10:2-3 Even as a lam among wolves I am confident of this: "You are my lamp O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall!" 2 Samuel 22:29-30.
